Sun Lee-Such is the Vice President of Pharmacy Services at AMITA Health. AMITA Health’s Ambulatory Pharmacy Services have developed programs that remove barriers to medication affordability, increase access to healthcare, and provide best-practice programs to improve patients’ medical outcomes. AMITA Health has developed a Pharmacotherapy Clinic that emphasizes medication education and provides numerous avenues for the uninsured or under-insured. They also have a Specialty Pharmacy Services team comprised of pharmacists and technicians that work directly with providers to deliver clinically appropriate medication recommendations and expertise in financial assistance and affordability in regards to specialty medications. AMITA’s Population Health Pharmacy Services team targets areas of improvement within various payer groups to improve access to care and healthcare quality. This team also works closely with healthcare leaders to determine the most appropriate educational methods for providers across the entire Chicago-land area.
