Brock Davis currently practices as the Clinical Pharmacist at HealthLinc Community Health Center in Mishawaka, IN. HealthLinc is a Federally-Qualified Health Center (FQHC) which provides primary care services as a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) for those who are typically underserved. Brock provides chronic disease state management for patients through collaborative drug therapy management agreements with his providers; including diabetes, hypertension, asthma, COPD, smoking cessation, and more. Brock has served as a guest-lecturer about underserved populations and primary care services to pharmacy students and nurse practitioner students throughout the state, as well as the content expert for an online webinar entitled “Serving the Underserved” through the Indiana Pharmacists Association. His published research in the Journal of the American Pharmacy Associations, “Providers Considerations to Implementing a Transitions of Care Clinic in a Federally-Qualified Health Center”, helps to solidify the continuity of care for those underserved patients who go through a care transition. Brock was also recently selected as the inaugural award winner of the Mary Beth Witcher Patient Advocate Award in 2019; this honor is selected for one HealthLinc staff member each year who works on behalf of HealthLinc patients and consistently places their needs and interest first.
