JASMINE D. GONZALVO, PharmD, BC-ADM, CDCES is a Clinical Professor of Pharmacy Practice in the College of Pharmacy at Purdue University. She is the Chris and Theresa Dimos Director of the Center for Health Equity and Innovation at Purdue. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Butler University in 2005. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Public Health degree at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health with expected graduation in May 2025. Her practice for Eskenazi Health involves the provision of Cardiovascular Risk Reduction services at a Federally Qualified Health Center in a population who primarily speaks Spanish. Her research interests relate to community health workers, cardiovascular risk reduction in populations that are underserved, integration of the Spanish language into practice and academic settings, and diabetes self-management education and support. She has served on multiple Boards for national diabetes organizations. She is active in advocacy efforts at the State and Federal levels. In 2018, she was appointed to the National Clinical Care Commission charged with evaluating and making recommendations to Congress and the Secretary of Health and Human Services regarding federal activities related to diabetes. She lives in Indianapolis with her husband, two daughters, and two dogs.
